Right to Repair Directive

An EU directive adopted in 2024 that promotes the repair of goods. It requires manufacturers of certain products to offer repair and to provide information on repair services, and gives consumers more repair options. Member States had to transpose it by 31 July 2026.

EcoAppraise context
