A claim that presents a product as environmentally preferable based on a narrow set of attributes, without disclosing other important environmental impacts.

Claims should consider the full life cycle and disclose relevant trade-offs. A lower-carbon product that uses far more water, for example, should not be presented as simply "better for the planet".
