Guideline B-15: Climate Risk Management
OSFI published Guideline B-15, setting out expectations for the management of climate-related risks by federally regulated financial institutions (FRFIs). The guideline covers governance and financial disclosures, and will be effective fiscal year-end 2024 for Domestic Systemically Important Banks and Internationally Active Insurance Groups, and fiscal year-end 2025 for other FRFIs.
