1) Scope
This policy applies to purchases of EcoAppraise™ services (single claim appraisals, team plans, subscriptions). During beta, appraisals offered free of charge are not eligible for refunds.
2) Definitions

Appraisal/Service: our evidence assessment and two-page scorecard.

Started: when we begin reviewing a submission (any manual or automated analysis).

Delivered: when we issue the reference-coded score and notify you.
3) Single appraisal (pay-as-you-go)

Before we start: full refund on request.

After we start: generally non-refundable (digital service in progress), except if:

Duplicate charge/payment error (full refund).

Non-delivery within 7 calendar days of order and no delay caused by missing info or your changes (full refund if you cancel before delivery).

Processing failure entirely on our side (full refund or re-do—your choice).

4) Team plans & subscriptions (post-beta)

Monthly: cancel anytime; current month is non-refundable. Access continues until period end.

Annual:

Within 14 days of first purchase and no appraisals started → full refund.

If appraisals started → pro-rated refund for unused months minus the value of completed/started appraisals at the then-current per-claim rate.

Renewals are non-refundable once the new term begins.

5) UK/EU consumer right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer (not a business), you may have a 14-day withdrawal right under the UK/EU consumer rules. However, for digital services:

If you ask us to start immediately (e.g., by ticking a box at checkout), you acknowledge you lose the withdrawal right once performance begins.

If you do not ask us to start and cancel within 14 days before we start, you receive a full refund.

“I request immediate performance of the EcoAppraise service and understand that I lose my 14-day withdrawal right once processing begins.”
6) How to request a refund
Email info@carbonbluesolutions.net with: order email, reference code(s), date of purchase, and reason. We may request info to verify identity and eligibility.
7) Processing & method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and currency within 10 business days (processor timelines may vary). Where permitted, non-recoverable processor fees may be excluded; if law requires, we will refund them as well.
8) Chargebacks
Please contact us first—most issues are solvable quickly. Unauthorized or fraudulent charges will be refunded after verification.
9) Misuse & abuse
We may decline refunds for misuse (e.g., mass submissions intended to evade pricing, prohibited content, or violations of our Terms).
10) Service changes & force majeure
If we cannot deliver due to events beyond our control and the delay exceeds 30 days, you may cancel for a full refund of the affected, undelivered service.
11) Governing law
Unless local consumer law requires otherwise, this policy follows the laws of Florida, USA, and disputes are handled as set out in our Terms.
